Nuno Pereira
Head of 3D and VFX / IMDB
Nuno joins UNIT with a wealth of experience, responsible for the technical and creative execution of several world class titles and commercials. He is also proudly holding nearly 20 years of experience in commercials, TV and Feature Films.
After graduating in Fine Arts, Nuno began to discover his true passion for creating outstanding imagery and watching an idea created into reality. With this spark, he began to pursue his career starting as a Generalist TD at Objetivo 49 in 2006 before honing his craft at established VFX and post houses across the globe including The Mill, MPC and Gramercy Park Studios where he became Visual Effects Supervisor.
Some of his Feature Film visual effects highlights include ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows part 2,’ ‘The Chronicles of Narnia;’ ‘The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader’ and ‘X-Men First Class.’
Nuno’s most recent work includes Amazon Studios series ‘The Rig’ and Netflix’s ‘No One Gets out Alive’ where he was the main Visual Effects Supervisor. His work on the series BBC’s ‘Supersized Earth’ and Sky’s ‘Britannia’ have awarded him an RTS and a BAFTA nominations respectively.
Nick Bennet
VFX Supervisor / IMDB
As VFX Supervisor at UNIT Film & TV, Nick Bennet brings over 25 years of experience in commercials, feature films, and long-form projects. Nick began his career as a runner at a busy commercials facility in 1992 where he soon began developing an interest in visual effects. Joining Framestore in its infancy, Nick worked across a number of feature films and longform productions, most notably Lost in Space (1998), Alice in Wonderland (1999) and Walking with Dinosaurs (1999), before moving across into commercials.
An Emmy award-winning VFX Supervisor, Nick’s 20 years in commercials took him around the world working on leading campaigns while developing strong technical and creative skills as well as the ability to thrive under pressure. In recent years, Nick has applied his extensive experience as a Flame artist and VFX Supervisor to the episodic and feature film world, working with Technicolor VFX and Ghost VFX. He has led high-end projects, overseeing all aspects from script breakdowns and bidding to on-set supervision and post-production processes.
Nick is passionate about mentoring emerging talent and fostering positive industry relationships. With a pragmatic, collaborative approach, he balances creative ambitions with practical constraints, always striving to exceed client expectations. His passion for VFX and its creative possibilities remains a driving force in his work.

Karl Kuehn
VFX Line Producer / IMDB
With over a decade of experience in post-production and VFX, Karl has steadily advanced in the entertainment industry, driven by a relentless passion for learning and personal growth. Starting at Technicolor, he worked his way up from Runner to Digital Cinema Mastering, to DATA IO, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the core operations and workflows. Finally landing within VFX as an Editor and inevitably transitioning into production seamlessly.
This diverse progression has equipped Karl with invaluable insight into all aspects of post-production and VFX, laying the foundation for his current role as a VFX Producer. His broad knowledge of workflows and technical processes has been key in driving the success of numerous high-end TV and feature projects, including Culprits, Gentleman Jack, It’s a Sin, and Last Night in Soho.
A natural leader, Karl values perfection, loyalty, and strong team cohesion. His ability to bring stability and a clear vision to each project ensures timely deliveries and maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
Amanda Luckwell
Co-owner UNIT Film & TV VFX
As Co-owner and head of UNIT Film & TV VFX Department, Amanda has extensive strategic experience across creative Commercial, Film and Episodic work spanning nearly three decades. She carved her career as a Producer working her way up to Executive Producer at renowned post houses such as Cell Animation, Rushes, MPC, The Mill and Absolute before starting up her own live action & animation production company in 2011.
Amanda is greatly enthused by creative challenges with a passion for VFX and has a reputation for pushing creative boundaries. She has Exec Produced high-end VFX on feature films such as Bond, Gladiator, Tron, 28 Days Later, with directors Sam Mendes, Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan, Danny Boyle and Guy Ritchie.
Over the years, she has developed close working relationships with many of London’s top production companies and directors and has a passionate close working approach with a keen eye for detail, ensuring her clients are supported from start to finish.

Wil Male
Junior Producer
As a Producer at UNIT Film & TV, Wil Male brings a unique blend of creativity and sociability with his strong expertise in overseeing projects across the VFX and production lifecycle. With a background in music from Newcastle University, Wil initially aimed to become a sound engineer but quickly found his natural fit in production. After starting as a runner at UNIT, he’s spent 5.5 years growing his role and now brings a wealth of experience to the team.
Wil’s early experience in music and love for collaborative environments have shaped his approach to production, where he thrives on team-focused projects. His credits include Midas Man (VFX Coordinator), Ford CATG (Picture Post Producer), and Devil’s Promise (PA), alongside working on heavy CG projects such as Land Rover andFantastique Worlds. He has also contributed to VFX projects like Walkers Sensations, demonstrating his ability to adapt across various project types.
Wil is focused on delivering excellence throughout every stage of the project, from concept to client relations to delivery. He takes pride in building strong, supportive teams and ensuring that every project is executed with creativity and precision. Wil’s grounded, results-driven approach reflects his deep commitment to the industry and the teams he leads.
Tania De Sousa
Head of Production
Tania De Sousa is a beloved Head of Production at UNIT Studios. Tania, who cut her teeth among the ranks of Saatchi & Saatchi and Smoke & Mirrors as a post production producer, has been with UNIT as a Senior Producer since January 2020 before evolving into her more senior role heading up and leading the production department.
Her tenacious spirit and good humoured approach has enabled Tania to produce stand-out work for a range of broadcasters including Netflix, Paramount+ & ITV. She has worked on many projects through the Visual Effects departments and is an integral cog in the UNIT family.
She is also passionate about nurturing and bringing through the best in next generation talent into UNIT.

Tom Wansbrough-Jones
Creative Director
Tom is a hands-on Creative Director with a deep passion for design and animation. With a core value of developing collaborative relationships with clients, Tom loves to get involved as a leader and an artist on projects that take complex and sometimes multifaceted ideas, turning them into visually stunning and compelling work.

Matt Rowley
Lead Motion Designer
With over 15 years of experience in the motion design industry, Matt has worked alongside and collaborated with many of the biggest names in the business with major broadcasters such as BBC, C4, NBC, NHK DAZN and Netflix, Matt consistently turns round award winning, well received client work. A multi disciplinary motion designer working across a wide variety of project types Matt is equally at home designing pitch work and styleframes at concept level, or working as team lead across 2d animation and VFX supervision.
