UNIT collaborates with BLOK and Girl & Bear Studios to find the End of the Rainbow (2/3)

UNIT in collaboration with Girl & Bear Studios, achieved a seamless synergistic of visual effects for the latest Rainbow Riches Casino advertisement. Directed by the duo at BLOK, UNIT were tasked with the visual effects, 3D animation as well as the sound design for the entire campaign.

Following on from the Hero spot, the two Rainbow Hunters after searching far and wide finally discover that the source of the rainbows is in fact, Rainbow Riches Casino.

Led by Jonathon Box, our VFX team delivered an abundance of special effects for over 90 shots truly encapsulating the exciting online casino slot games available. Jonathon was present during the entire 6-day shooting ensuring his creative team were thoroughly briefed and able to pull out all the stops, or in this case [casino] slots, to achieve this spectacle.

The result: a truly successful campaign epitomising what BLOK considers “incredible VFX wizardry”.

We also cleverly built a distinctive animated rainbow which will be used across the whole TVC campaign including online and print.

Marrying all the elements together was our very own sound designer Jamie Thomas, who quite literally provided all the bells and whistles.

Working with BLOK and Girl & Bear Studios was a pleasure and is perfectly summarised by Johnathon: “It was a great collaborative process and a fun campaign to have been part of”.
