UNIT reunites with Partizan director Ali Kurr to deliver post production on latest Body Shop ‘Self Love’ campaign created by Wax/On
The Body Shop have unveiled the latest commercial in their Self Love campaign originally launched last year, with a bold and liberating film aimed at negating Self Doubt and triumphing Self Love.
‘Self Love Street’, penned by London agency Wax/On, features three housemates using different ways to love themselves by focusing on three key issues: rejection in love, the need for external validation and body image.
The beauty company have said that the new campaign will once again revoke the importance of empowering, embodying and raise the awards of self-love and everything that comes with it.
‘Self Love Street’ directed and crafted by Partizan’s Ali Kurr, is the latest creative collaboration between the talented female director and UNIT Studios, the previous being the much lauded fifth instalment of the This Girl Can series.
UNIT proudly delivered post-production consisting of 2D VFX, an intricate sound design and mix created by UNIT’s senior sound designer Jamie Thomas and completed with a beautifully contemporary grade created by UNIT’s Head of Colour Denny Cooper who also comments, ‘It was great to collaborate with the super talented director Ali Kurr and the Partizan team on these wickedly fun spots for The Body Shop’.
Keeping the campaign real, the Self Love campaign is strategically screened during Love Island.
