Immersed in a backdrop of violence, the BBC’s new drama series “This Town”, from writer Steven Knight, launches this year vividly capturing the genesis of a band amidst the chaotic allure of ska and two-tone. The series entwines the narrative with the compelling saga of an extended family’s entanglement in this vibrant musical realm.

Peaky Blinders’ creator Knight said: “It’s about an era I lived through and know well and it involves characters who I feel I grew up with.”
